Boy, if only I had my own theater, huh?

I know not many sequels make the cut in comparison to the original, but I believe I made this one just as good, if not a little better than the first Teen Titans/Ghostbusters pic I did. I was worried it wasn't going to be ready in time, but thankfully, I just made it.

As with the first, Raven is the main focus, this time targeted by a medevil sorcerer, living within a painting. (Notice any similarities thus far?) I know that Dana had a child in the 2nd film (Oscar), but I wanted to keep it simple, and closer tied to the similarities of the cartoon. "Spellbound" was an immediate inspiration to do this concept.

The background was kinda up in the air for a while. It was almost going to be just a black to white gradient layer. But after some thought, I came up with what you see now. A small cityscape, and a few wandering spirits made in a similar fashion for how I made the teaser poster. And as with all things GB, slime tends to be a factor, so I added a few layers of slowly dribbling pink slime overhead.

Malchior/Rorek played out perfectly as Vigo the Carpathian, fitting most of the background, except in the tv show he was bound to a book rather than a painting, but the general idea is pretty much the same.

Due to popular request, from most comments from the last piece, I transplanted Robin into this one, switching him out with Cyborg as Egon Spengler. Everybody thought he'd be better suited for the role, and I can certainly see it wouldn't be much of a stretch for Robin to play an overly serious scientist as opposed to an overly serious crime fighter.

Some people were surprised when I introduced Control Freak as Ray. A few didn't care for it, but I still like the strong resemblance he has with both Stantz's movie character and animated likeness.

BeastBoy is still my fav of the bunch. I think he embodies Peter so well, and I really want to reflect that in my work. His relationship with Dana is strikingly similar to some of my own perceptions of BB and Raven's relationship.

All in all, this was a lot of fun, and I hope to look back on this as one of my best works. I still see room for improvement, but it seems with every work I'm making great strides and I hope you agree.
