Some girls break hearts, some roast them on a skewer over a spit.

For a birthday present, I got the complete 3rd Season of Avatar: The Last Airbender. And since then, I felt compelled to do a pic of Azula. I really wanna know what became of her after balance was restored to the world. Was she locked away with her father? Exiled? I just want to know and I hope someday something comes along to give that closure along with a few other details.

If I had to choose one female villain I could fall for, it'd probably be Azula. There's just something enticing about that, "I will murder you while you sleep" look she does so well.

The drawing on th left was the first sketch I did of her while I was home for the holidays. The one on the right I just sort of threw in out of my own personal preference. There was that brief instance in one episode where you see Azula without any makeup, and personally, I thought she was much more attractive without it. This was my first attempt at drawing Azula, so I'm sure you can spot some inconsistencies, but overall I think it turned out fairly well. I didn't do the line work as clean as I usually do, but I wanted to try more of a rough/sketchey look for this piece.
