One of the most viewed pics in my gallery is Gender Bender ---> [link] , a club contest piece I did a few years back. So one day I was sketching around and ended up playing around with the idea a bit more.
I switched parts of the original pose, and tweaked a few other aspects of my original drawing when I scanned the picture. I was aiming for a perky, rambunctious sort of feminine charm for this mod of BeastBoy. Kind of an extension of his personality into the opposite gender. I played around with the face the most. I still keep seeing BeastBoy's male side in it somehow, but that might be because I draw him so frequently. Then again, I did want to maintain his expression too. |
